For over ten years our wines have been made under contract by Robert Diletti of Castle Rock Estate in the Porongorups. Robert was recently named the inaugural James Halliday Australian Winemaker of the Year. A well-deserved award as those of you who have tried our wines would agree.
James Halliday has described our Chardonnay as 'almost too perfect'. It has been matured in French Oak for 10 months giving a wonderful mouth feel, but allowing the wonderful flavours, ranging from white peach to grapefruit to play across the palate. An elegant wine of great length and balance it can be enjoyed now or for many years to come.
Made from our 20 year old low yielding Merlot vines, this wine has just been bottled.
It is the first Rose we have produced and we are very happy with it.
The 2018 Savvy opens with a wonderfully fresh bouquet of passionfruit with nuances of guava. The vibrant palate is awash with gooseberry and tropical fruit flavours concluding with a crisp, dry finish.

Another take on our classic Savvy. Barrel fermented and left on lees in French oak for five months, this wine has great balance between passionfruit, gooseberry and tropical fruit with complex savoury notes. The palate has a rich textural feel which complements the vibrant fruit characters.
Our cool climate Semillon adds a zesty lemon overtone to the classic flavours of our Savvy. A balanced medium bodied wine, its fresh and lively flavours carry through to a clean and crisp finish.

A typically elegant wine contract-made by Rob Diletti. The clear colour announces a light to medium bodied merlot with a mixture of cassis, plum, dried herb and black olive flavours; the fruit and savoury components create good tension.
